Description
This is a full time, year-round position.
Primary responsibilities will be to service, refurbish and maintain hot tubs, swim spas both in-house and in the field.
Training will be provided. The right individual will be mature with a positive outlook on life and a can-do attitude, will be a team player able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Good troubleshooting skills, strong customer communication skills, and a clean and valid driver’s license are a must.
This position will service equipment at the customer’s location. As a fully trained field service technician, you will perform the services needed by our hot tub and swim spa customers. Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude will be critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Set service schedule
- Communicate service and labor rates for non-warranty service work
- Troubleshoot further with customer to get more details
- Stock service vehicle with all parts, water care, filters, and tools needed
- Keep service vehicle organized, clean and wash weekly
- Submit warranty, ship parts in timely manor
- Keep customers informed regularly; eta, parts, details of service performed or what else is needed
- Able to work independently, uses time wisely
- Fill out service call orders completely
- Collect payment for non-warranty calls
Qualifications
- Current valid driver’s license
- 3+ years’ experience in troubleshooting electrical/plumbing products
- Proven knowledge of service policies-procedures and safety requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with written and verbal communication skills
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and sit
- Ability to lift or move parts 10-50lbs
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and customers
